iPhone Super Retina XDR Specifications

Modern iPhones (iPhone 13, 14, 15, and 16 series) use Super Retina XDR OLED displays. Target wallpaper dimensions should be at least 1179×2556 pixels (iPhone Pro standard) or 1290×2796 pixels (iPhone Pro Max).

Using iOS Lock Screen Depth Effects

iOS lock screens support depth effects where foreground subjects subtly overlay the clock widget. To make depth effect work, pick wallpapers with clear separation between foreground subjects (people, animals, buildings) and background skies or gradients.
